The Nottingham Book Group

A relaxed way to meet new people and talk about books, films, and whatever else comes to mind, over a drink or two. New members are always welcome so there's no need to be apprehensive - we're a friendly bunch!

We cover whatever range of books members suggest with informal meetings once a month where people can talk about whatever they like - the book or whatever else comes up in conversation.

In addition to the monthly book group we also have a monthly film night at the Broadway cinema with a chance to meet up prior to the films and then to talk about them afterwards.

At our events members can say as much or as little as they like without feeling pressured to stick to certain topics or opinions. As well as introducing one another to new authors and titles and keeping up with the latest cinema releases the group is also a great way for people to get to know one another more generally.

As much as possible we try and co-ordinate our events with those on the Nottingham Night Life group with whom we share quite a few members so why not join both and have a packed social calendar!
