So what's "Chick Lit?" According to Wikipedia, the proper definition is "...a term used to denote genre fiction written for and marketed to young women, especially single, working women in their twenties and thirties; Chick lit features hip, stylish female protagonists, usually in their twenties and thirties, in urban settings...and follows their love lives and struggles for professional success." Basically, they're books about young women figuring life out. I thought it would be fun to start a group to discuss these type of books, a group geared towards women. Even though I get made fun of sometimes, I truly enjoy these types of books, because I think a lot of women can identify with them, and they make you feel happy at the end. I also think a group with just women to chat about the stories/characters (over coffee or drinks) is a fun idea. Thanks for reading!!!
