Book Club, featuring "WONDERFUL LIFE" by Stephen Jay Gould

From Chapters: The Burgess Shale is a small limestone quarry formed 530 million years ago. In it are the remains of an ancient sea that nurtured more varieties of life than can be found in all of our modern oceans. Stephen Jay Gould explores what the Burgess Shale
reveals about evolution and the nature of history.

$2 donation. Please bring a snack to share.

What members are saying

Well, I guess you would join if you enjoy books and like to talk about the ideas presented in the book being discussed.

It was a lively group and the tangents were interesting.

I have always had an interest in science and philosophy and I would like to broaden what I normally read on those topics.

I meet few people who i can have an intelligent conversation with about books especially philosophy. I've read alot of science fiction/fact and have recently taken a more philosophical bend in my readings.
