Introduction: Hi, I most recently started to enjoy spending the time to read a good book, but never had any one to enjoy it with. I am typically very selective about what I read and looking to explore in new ideas.
Will you be willing to go outside your usual 'reading box' and read something you would not normally choose, as they will happen in a book group.: Yes, I look forward to adding diversity to my library.
Those will enjoy an easy read now and then but again like to engage in a real discussion about the hidden meanings in the book.: The main reason for me wanting to join a book club is so I can talk about and discuss the books I read.
do you enjoy a good book but like to also "delve" below the surface, find the hidden meaning that the author may be trying to get the reader to 'see'?: Ever since I read Lord of the Flies and Romeo and Juliet in high school I found more enjoyment out of examining the meanings.
