A friend asked me to start a book club based out of her pleasant lounge-bar in Surbiton.
So I thought about it ...
What really makes a book club interesting is if the author is actually present to participate in the discussion.
A nice location, canapés and drinks would be great too!
So this is the basis of the Rubicon Book Club.
I have managed to get some fellow authors, with a fascinating array of books, signed-up to attend.
Please take a look at the wonderful poster.
The 'book of the month' and of the following month is on sale in the Rubicon bar, and local book shops (as well as Amazon, of course).
Here is the current progamme (always on the last Tuesday of the month).
