Tram Page Turners Melbourne book club

This book club is for lovers of the best books from each genre of fiction both classic and contemporary literature, and quality best sellers.
The meetings will take place in the CBD/ Richmond area in either a pub or a cafe within easy access of public transport for workers from the CBD, where people can get an inexpensive dinner if they want to as well.
The purpose is to get together each month after having read a book (with longer books we'll take 2 months to finish it but still discuss it in part at the month-halfway mark) and have a lively chat. Why did you like it? What made it interesting?

If you love to both listen to other people's opinions and also are ready to share your own in a friendly, good humoured way, you should join. You will get the motivation to read more, make more inspired and entertaining choices about what you read and have the encouragement of some new friends who are doing the same.
Especially if you are also someone who is new to Melbourne, and have ever watched someone reading an interesting-looking book on the train or tram, wanted to ask them about it, and held back out of nothing but bloody good manners, this may be the group for you.

"I am an avid reader and love to meet like-minded people in a relaxed setting. I always enjoy discussions about literature, and usually come away from them with a better understanding of the book, which then leads to more enjoyment re-reading it."
