About Progressive Women's Book Club

We are progressive, diverse women craving a safe space to discuss a variety of good books with other avid readers! Do you find it difficult to pick a favorite genre or author because you can see the beauty of so many different types of written works? Do you want to balance entertainment and intellect with other women just like you? Do you see the importance of respite for the mind with regular reading and thinking? How about a woman's book club that reads more than just romance novels or pop-trite? Let's get together and discuss a variety of good books and enjoy each other's company and perspectives. Meeting once a month is great for busy schedules and gives us all time to read the month's book pick. Every month we will alternate fiction with non-fiction to keep our meetings fresh and entertaining and our dialogue interesting and meaningful. We'll have a petite melange of wine, cheese, tea, coffee, fruit, etc. available and everyone is welcome to bring things to share! The women of this group are only required to be fun-loving, open-minded, insightful, and contemplative individuals that see the link between literature and life.
