Gay Book Club

Are there any gay men interested in belonging to a small group that meets monthly on a Sunday afternoon in a cozy, renovated Dupont Circle condo to discuss books over wine and possibly over dinner at a nearby restaurant? We will focus on literature and psychology and applicable gay titles in an attempt to better understand ourselves and the society in which we live. If you wish to read only gay titles and authors this group is not for you. Sexual orientation is only one aspect out of many which constitute our identity. This is not a gay studies group.

I have room for four men. Our first book will be "Man in the Holocene" by Max Frisch. It is concerned with aging. Please provide a detailed introduction including age, what you have read, and what you like would like to read. Our organizational (first) meeting will be on Sunday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. I will want to meet with you for coffee before that meeting.
