About The Roseville Women's Book Club

Welcome to The Roseville Women's Book Club! We are a group of women (all ages are welcome!) that get together to discuss books! It's that simple! We are a very casual and informal book club, meaning that it's just very relaxed. There is no set outline for our meetings, we just talk! We laugh a lot and have fun! Our discusssions usually last about an hour, but the meeting often goes 30 minutes longer for those members who continue to hang out and just talk. We also host events that have nothing to do with books at all! Movies, lunch, theatre! We hope that members can build some really great friendships through the group so we try and do a non-book related event every month. Membership - The group is open to all women. To maintain a quality group, I will be doing an attendance check every 6 months. Any member who has consistently RSVP'd "yes" for an event and then not shown up will removed from the group.

Book Selections - Books will be selected via the polls. Every month, a discussion will be placed on the message board to see what it is everyone feels like reading. It's a place to throw around suggestions for the next book. Once I get an idea of what some of us are wanting to read, then I will place a poll out there with a few different books. Members will then vote on which book they would next like to read. Remember, that nothing is off the table! We will read anything and everything!

Locations - Meetings will most likely take place at one or two different coffee shops in Roseville. There may be times when we meet at restaurant as well. If you have a location suggestion, please email me and let me know. I'm always open to suggestions of any kind!

Special Events - Occasionally, I may list an event that is completely unrelated to books. It may be a movie, dinner, or movie AND dinner. I will also list random events on the calendar just for your interest. They won't be "official" events, but just things that may be going on in the community or what not, that I think you may find interesting. Although I may list random "special" events, the core and main focus of this group will be dedicated to books.
