We plan to meet once a quarter at Cafe Demetrio in the Gables. Our first book is Robert M Price's very detailed explanation of how the bible was written, by whom, when and why. - "The Incredible Shrinking Son of Man"
We're all unbelievers, atheists and agnostics to be clear about it, so if you aren't you might find yourself uncomfortable in this meetup although we welcome all thinking humans who can set belief aside to learn scientific facts.
We plan to read all sorts of titles, our next offering in November could be something in the field of secular philosophy or possibly a title that the group suggests. We can and will study books on a wide range of subjects and topics. Join us and you agree you will come every Quarter prepared to discuss the book that is the topic for that meetup.
