The time is getting near, each person who is attending should have their thoughts about the book organized so you can present them for the others. This is our first meetup and our first book. Jim will do some research on format and have that also available for the members to discuss. Everyone is busy but a committee of sorts to decide about future books shoiuld be considered. We also will consider the type of book we want to recommend to the members.

Our present book certainly is a detailed examination of the historical validity of the new testament with lots of references to the old testament as well. It was tempting to read the book with a bible at hand. One of our questions will be did anyone do that?

    Hi everyone, I am sorry that I won't be able to attend the first meeting. I live in the Keys and the trip is too risky for me to take with the storm that is starting to pound our islands. I have asked my good friend Tara Stewart to take charge in my place. She will be at the Cafe a little early waiting for you. I asked the Cafe to find us a location that is quiet and they are expecting up to 6 persons at 1 PM today. Have a great first meeting. Jim
