i know that sunny isles/north miami beach might be a bit far away for some of you but i thought i'd put the info out there just in case.

i was happy to see a display of ayn rand's books in my local library. asking about why they were there i was informed about the immanent discussion about her and her books. if any of you are familiar with sunny isles, you know that there is a large russian population here. some may also recall that ayn rand was born in russia and moved here to the US. if you've read her or want to know more, think this event is right for you. she is an avowed atheist, capitalist, feminist and a complex woman ahead of her time. other works of hers are 'atlas shrugged' 'anthem' 'we the living' and a slew of philosophical essays. google her or look her up on wikipedia.
