I REALLY enjoyed both Kite and Splendid Suns - even though they were so similar that at times I felt the storylines were going to overlap. I also really liked the book by Marisha Pessl. It took a little while to get to the plot, but then I was hooked. I can't make it to the meet, either. I RSVP'd yes but just realized I have concert tickets for tomorrow. Maybe next time. Even though I haven't made it to a meeting yet, the pressure of finishing the book on time has kept me motivated to read!
