I thought the meeting went well, with lots of people attending. For the next meeting, I would like to offer the suggestion that we post a few topics we'd like to discuss and then use that as a guide during the MeetUp. It seems like we got off on some tangents which were unrelated to the book. A guided discussion might be helpful or even some sample question to think about (what did you think the main character learned?, was there any meaning or moral to the story, etc.)

I'm going to have to apologize ahead of time, I haven't had a chance to read the book (I only found out about the book club yesterday!). But I'm excited to hear everyone's thoughts, meet some new people and get a feel of how the discussions are run :)
