Hi Everyone,

Barnes & Noble has reconfigured where they will allow groups to meet and the space is a) less than ideal and b) not large enough to accommodate our group. This puts us in a bind for tomorrow. I have contacted the two Borders locations in downtown DC, but haven't had any luck.

So, I am appealing to all of you to help come up with a suggestion for where we can meet going forward. If you have ideas, please post them on the message board. I'm going to be off e-mail entirely starting at 3:30 today and won't be back online until tomorrow morning.

I look forward to your brilliance!

Heather

Teaism? It's in the same general area and they seem to accommodate groups.

I checked the Barnes & Noble in Clarendon and they have an event at 7:00 tomorrow.
Also, the DC Public Library is out. It closes at 5:30, according to their web page.

You could always call up Elephant and Castle (where we normally go after the book club) and ask to reserve a back room (preferably the Rayburn) for an hour or so. I would call this afternoon and ask for Jen. I use to work there, so I am pretty sure it will be okay if there are no other options.
