2010 book list and moderator changes

Hello Everybody,
As we end 2009 we have a couple of issues to address.
One being the 2010 book list of course. The 2010 idea list is on line in the message section and I urge everyone to take a look and send me your suggestions.
We usually finalize the list by the Nov. meet-up.

The second issue is more pressing and has the potential to change the group altogether. (Or not)
It's been over 4 years since I took over the book club and brought it on line in the Meet-up.com site.
I feel it's time for a change (for myself) and will be stepping down as moderator at the end of the year. I hope that someone will want to take over the group and make it their own. If nobody contacts me about taking the moderator position by the end of the year, I will step down officially on the Meet-up site on Jan. 1st. That usually starts a count down timer on Meet-up.com and 30 or 60 days later the site will go dark if nobody takes over.

So, we as a group have a couple of choices to make.
I can go forward in completing the 2010 book list as usual, or we can let it slide and see what the new moderator wants to do. I leave it up to the members to decide.
If I don't hear anything by the Nov. meet-up, I will set up the new book list.

The time I have spent with this group is a priceless experience for me. I appreciate all the members and all the interactions and friendships I have made over the years.
I especially want to thank the core members that have stuck it out and show up for every meeting. Dealing with the good books and the bad. (De Lint) :)
