I'm new to Boston and looking to meet people and make new friends who share similar interests.

Name one book that you read and enjoyed recently. What did you like about it?

"The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy. Excellent writing and a powerful storytelling skills. Moved me on several levels.

Who is your favorite writer?

A sampling of some of my favorite international authors: Yann Martel (yes, I've already read Life of Pi), Arundhati Roy, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Nikolai Gogol, Milan Kundera, Jhumpa Lahiri, Elie Wiesel
