Hi Guys!

There is a poll in the "polls" section so that we can vote for the book to read for October. I hope everyone votes, and that we really have a clear choice this month! I will close this poll on Sunday Sept 6th, so get your votes in now!

Thanks!

I missed the Hemingway discussion last week, much to my chagrin. Last minute company came into town. I so wanted to discuss the book. I am looking forward to October. I would love to read Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights. It was Charlotte who wrote Jane Eyre, by the way. Either one would be fantastic.

Oops! You are right! I'm sure the sisters would be turning over in their graves by now! I've corrected it . . . sorry Emily!

Hey Shelly, Any word yet on the book for October? I just want to get a headstart on picking it up so let me know when you do. Today I bought Angels Game, what a perfect afternoon for curling up on the couch to read. Enjoy the rain.

I missed the last mmeting too. I thought it was at 6:00 and then I could not wait. Good selection though. LeAnn- I just read Wuthering Heights too. I didn't even know there was a third Bront sister! I know you are knowlegeable about Heathcliff- Does he have the "I would rather die by inches..." quote?
