You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
The Secular Book Club is a group of Atheists, Humanists, Freethinkers and others who wish to learn more about history as well as discuss numerous other issues relating to various worldviews with an emphasis on the nontheist philosophy. This gruop was formed to help build a secular community and common culture, which is further enhanced by regular events of the two co-sponsoring organizations: The Humanist Association of Greater Philadelphia (HAGP) and the Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia (FSGP).
The Secular Book Club is one of HAGP's regular monthly events. Other HAGP events include:
1st Saturday - Movie Night
2nd Saturday - Luncheon at the Olive Garden
3rd Saturday - Secular Book Club
4th Sunday - Guest Speaker and General Meeting
Most events take place in Willow Grove, PA. For more info, visit www.hagp.org.
