This next book: Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by CHRISTOPHER MOORE is all that a slice of cake.
He combines humor with the supernatural. I've only read one of his books but I've had more than a few people tell me how great his books are so let's try this one together.

You can read more about it here.

And it looks like you can pick it up pretty cheaply at HalfPrice books or even amazon.com. I'm not sure how many libraries will have it in stock but you can surely try.

A book chosen by our newest member: Katherine Scott! (sorry that it took me so long to get it posted, Katherine)

At 400 pages, it's a bit of long one and our second non-fiction book so head out to find it. The book was published in '01 so it should be easy to find at Half Price books, etc.

Here's the link for some info about the book.

I think it sounds kind of interesting.

It does cost $10 to get into the museum and this 'meet and greet' is covered by this fee.

Cost: $10.00

Our first non-fiction book, group!

Our newest member, Gauravi, has picked this book and I'm glad we are going to delve a little deeper into our spiritual and intellectual sides.

Here's a summary:

Barack Obama's first book, Dreams from My Father, was a compelling and moving memoir focusing on personal issues of race, identity, and community. With his second book The Audacity of Hope, Obama engages themes raised in his keynote speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, shares personal views on faith and values and offers a vision of the future that involves repairing a "political process that is broken" and restoring a government that has fallen out of touch with the people.
