Alternative Books for March & April will be discussed

Hey Everyone,

Since we are winding down with the two books a month format, and only focusing on one book we have missed a few meetups specifically for the Alternative Books. I have received a bunch of emails from folks asking if we can get together to meet for the books. With that we will get together to discuss this past two month's Alternative Books. The book for March was Then We Came to the End, by Joshua Ferris, and the Alternative Book for April is Three Cups of Tea, by Greg Mortenson. This is a totally no pressure meetup. Heading back to the Standard Tap we will meet at the upstairs bar. No dinner this time, just hanging out for a couple of drinks and some lively discussion. Feel free to stop by to discuss either of the books - even if you have only read one or none.

There is one Alternative book remaining, the May Alternative Book, which is If You Loved School, You Will Love Work, by Irvine Welsh. I hope to schedule this meetup for some point in May. If anyone has already read this book we can also do a little previewing of it at the Standard Tap.

Hopefully the weather will be great, and we can spend some time out on the deck here. I should be hanging out by the fireplace at 7:30 with a pint in hand. Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you there.
