Hi Everyone,
Here is our last Alternative Book Meetup for a while, and it is If You Like School, You'll Love Work, by Irvine Welsh. Welsh is a Scottish born writer famous for such books as The Acid House, Trainspotting, and The Bedroom Secrets of Master Chefs. He has had a few novels that have gone on to be plays for the London stage, and a few that have gone on to be films. This book is a brief collection of short stories that should provide for excellent conversation - as his material tends to be somewhat controversial. Once again we head back to The Standard Tap where we will meet at the upstairs bar. Great bar menu and a wonderful local beer selection make this a perfect place.
I hope to catch a bunch of you there for a conversation about this fun book.
Thanks.
Rob
