Hello all! This club is for anyone who has ever enjoyed a good book and wished to talk about it in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with good food and drink available. Our selections will be varied, generally available in retail outlets in paperback or in libraries.
---Travel: House of Kabob is located on Rockville Pike between Old Georgetown Rd and Marinelli. It is in a small shopping strip across from White Flint Metro (redline). Parking is plentiful. Usually the meeting is held on the third Monday of each month; changes will be posted on the home page.

Our September book, The River of Doubt, received positive comments by club members who read it. I can not help but observe that this book is an apt metaphor for our current economic track, since we are definitely coursing rapidly down an unknown path with over-confident leaders who have poorly planned our expedition!
