Meet kindred book lovers in a local Book Group!

I always wanted to join a book group... and found out on meetup that there are lots of others who wanted to join one too. So, I'm happy to take on some of the organisation if other people are willing to come along and voice bookie opinions.

Fiction or non-fiction, paperback or hardcover, you'll read a new book every month (or so). Come to laugh, share stories and make new friends!

Our first meeting took place in May 2007. But it's not too late to join and come along. We've chosen a list of books to last us a year - to see the list go to the 'About Us' page.

We have decided to close the group to new members, as we currently have more than enough people to create interesting discussions each month.
