That's a tough one! I just read The Gentleman in the Parlour by Somerset Maugham. His descriptons take me to another place and make me calm. I also really like John Irving - he just tells a really good story.

- What book have you read within the past five years that's changed your life?

Not sure if it changed my life but I often think about A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. Also, reading One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Marquez opened my mind to a new style of writing.
