Harvest-Your-Own Strawberries
Strawberry harvest begins in early June and picking continues through mid-July. Hours are variable depending on weather and picking conditions.

For over one hundred and fifty years, six generations of the Jones family have farmed their land in the White Hills of Shelton, Connecticut. The Jones Winery continues the family tradition of growing high quality crops that celebrate the great bounty of local farmlands. The farm's vineyard and famous berry harvests allow the winery to create a wonderful selection of traditional grape wines and specialty fruit wines. The Jones Winery is part of the Connecticut Wine Trail.

Tasting Room Hours

We reopen for the season
on May 3, 2008.

Fridays - Sundays 11 AM - 5 PM

As we begin the Spring and Summer 2008 seasons, visitors can find our Tasting Room at the farm's Harvest Kitchen facility. Located on the main farm directly across from the historic dairy barn, the Harvest Kitchen will provide a warm, inviting place for visitors to enjoy our wines while we continue a major renovation of our Tasting Room.

Come taste the wines that everyone has been talking about! For a tasting fee of $6, people can enjoy sampling six of the winery's distinctive wines and receive a complimentary Jones Winery wine glass.

I wish I could make it but we're already committed to attending a friends BBQ. Next time! Sounds like fun.

This was a great event! The strawberries were delicious and plentiful. The sun wasn't TOO hot. I would wear a hat next time though. Then we moved on to the Winery. We tasted 6 or more local wines and had chocolates and strawberry shortcake and ice cream to top it all off. The desserts were too die for and the wines were amazing. If you go to the farm, the Rasberry Rhapsody was a hit and we all bought a bottle. Lightweights beware with all that wine on an empty stomach lol. Overall, a superb combo of luscious strawberries, dark chocolate and robust wine.
    •  I especially enjoyed the wine tasting. The farm was like being in Vermont. Totally quaint and lovely. And it was fun to meet everyone.
