Nixon and Mao, The Week That Changed the World by Margaret MacMillan

The book is available in paperback on Amazon for $11.56. Remember (or be aware of, for any newcomers) to think about what book you would like to recommend to the group for the meeting following this one. At end of this, just as we do at end of every meeting, we will discuss and then vote on which book we'll read for the next meeting.

    Did anyone ever read Nixon's "In the Arena"? I enjoyed his ideas. I'm so intrigued by the charismatic Chou En-Lai! I'd like to read a biography about him.
