Choosing the book for June

The book we will read for the June meetup will be chosen by attendees at the May 6 meetup. Prospective attendees, start thinking up your reading ideas, and anyone who wants to start lobbying ahead of time is welcome, as always, to use the resources of this fancy website to do so, including this Message Board and the mailing list.

Democracy of the elite!

Well, I still want to read *Love in the Time of Cholera* by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. It came close to being chosen before, so all you disappointed former voters come on out and support this baby.

Sorry I couldn't make it to the last meeting. Have been in a cleaning mood - my house is such a mess, so haven't found time or inclination to read - been watching videos though ugh! However it's all been the classics - od'ing on Jane Austen actually - watched BBC version of Pride and just finished watching Mansfiled Park. Watched Chronicles of Narnia as well - liked it actually.
Anyway what did you decide on the next book? - I thought I'd get an early start ...
