Looking for a new home for the group

Hello Science-y folks!

For those of you who attend our meetups on even a semi-regular basis, you're probably aware of all of the construction along I-35W south of Minneapolis, including the on-ramp from 46th St to Northbound 35W. Now, it turns out the entire 46th St exchange will be shut down as they replace the overpass. For some time, I've been wanting to change our meeting location to something closer to downtown or U of M area, and the closure of the 46th St exchange that leads to Java Jack's is the catalyst that will be prompting me to make this change.

I'm opening this issue to suggestions from you, the membership, as to a new meeting location. I would prefer something either near downtown Minneapolis or Dinkytown, but other reasonable, centrally-located, easily-accessible locations will be considered. The place should be relatively quiet, preferably with access to beverages and possibly food (but not with obligation to buy, which is something I liked about Java Jacks, they never seemed to mind).

Please respond to this e-mail with your suggestions for a new location. If I get a number of them, I will put them up for a vote in a poll. Until a new location is chosen, locations for future meetups will show as "TBA".
