Hi gang!

We have picked our book to discuss in August "Waiting for Snow in Havana" by Carlos Eire.

We were so taken with the play "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder (and Thornton Wilder himself) , that we decided to read a book by Thornton Wilder to discuss in September "The Bridge of San Luis Rey".

    • “ This book club is the best thing going in Daytona Beach. The novel we discussed this month was of introspection, with a middle-aged man describing his life in pre and post Castro Cuba, and his flight as a child to Miami. We also had a "show and tell" re Kindle. ”
