Introduction
Hi, I'm Jen. I recently moved here from Kansas City (though I grew up in Ridgewood). I love to read and I think it would be great to talk about books besides The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Is there any book or type of book that you hate?

I can appreciate most genres if the author is very talented, but I don't choose to read very many western, fantasy or science fiction books. I'm also not a fan of romance or horror.

What is your favorite book/writer?

There are so many, but here's a partial list: Sujata Massey, Kate Atkinson, Jane Green, Anne Lamott, Jodi Picoult, John Irving, Laurie Notaro,Nick Hornby,Tom Wolfe, Alison Lurie,J.K.Rowling,Janet Evanovich
