This group was originally created to bring together individuals who read books for substance and ideas. That was the plan. It was a good plan, but plans change.

The new purpose of this group is to bring together individuals who read books for substance and ideas and enjoy talking, listening, and laughing about them. Think the roundtable at the Algonquin in the 20s or, my favorite, the *Quite Interesting show hosted by my ideal conversationalist, Stephen Fry.

This group is open to artists, musicians, scientists, engineers, and anyone who likes to examine and exchange ideas, respect others' opinions, and is open to learning something from others.

Suggestions to make this better are welcome!
