Classic Books
|
I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who gave many a classic book a pass while growing up. Yet it turns out my teachers were right and there is a literary currency that these works provide and that I cannot truthfully engage in. In the hope of remedying said situation, I've thrown together this meet-up on the off-chance others would like to sit down and finally read Love in the Time of Cholera, Pride and Prejudice, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The books can span any time period or country and will be decided by group vote. I encourage everyone to use the Message board to talk about books desired and books read. I'm hoping it will be a means of continuing discussions after we all go home.
