Estimated attendance:  12  people attended.

The book for the March meeting is The Color of Water by James McBride.

I'll be looking for four volunteers for this meeting; two to lead the discussion, and two to research the author and book. Please let me know if you are interested in filling either role.

Please be committed to attendance and to reading the entire book, although attendees are still encouraged to come if they find themselves a few pages short of the end of the book on the day of the meeting.

I'll plan better for the next meeting. Just got myself all wore out, though i'd be able to make it, but it didn't happen. I look forward to April's meeting!

The Color of Water will be a great book to discuss. It seems McBride has hit upon the key elements of raising a great family sans money/nannies/and all the trimmings. His mother remains one of my all time heros.
