About TC 40+ Non-fiction Book Club Meetup Group
Meet and interact with readers that think real life is more interesting than fiction: history, biographies, real life journalistic books, etc. Once-a-monthly get together at the Wilde Roast in NE Mpls food and drink (including spirits if you like) and we have reserved a private room. Some of us have dinner, your choice.
Requirements other than age:
1) Participate in suggesting books
2) RSVP if planning on attending, and please change that status if you decide not to, or can't, come
3) One dollar charge per meeting (covering cost of staying on Meetup)
4) Interested in lively book discussions
Choosing books
List of member's choices with synopsis and reviews are provided, and we vote either at the meeting or by email. Try and set up 2-3 months out at a time.
