The SF World Literature and Food Book Club
|
Meet kindred book lovers in a local Meetup Book Club! We'll explore the world and different cultures through a mix of fiction, non-fiction and food. Each month we will select a book that takes place in another culture (or American subculture) and meet in a cafe or restauant connected to the theme of the book to enjoy food and discuss the book. Come to laugh, share stories and make new friends!

May Meet-up: Snow Flower and the Secret Fan
The theme for May will be China; we will be reading "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan" by Lisa See and meeting at Ton Kiang in the Richmond. Ton Kiang serves great dim sum during the day and "Hakka" Cuisine in the evening. Read more
