The theme for February will be Peru and we will be reading "Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter: A Novel" by Mario Vargas Llosa. It's time we visited our last unvisited continent -- South America, and also get a chance to eat some delicious Peruvian food. Mario Vargas Llosa's name keeps coming up as one of the leading Latin American authors and this book has just come out in English with good reviews:
