"I'm a 7th grade humanities teacher in Teach for America working at a downtown charter school. I miss being a student myself though, so hopefully this will help me pretend I'm back in college!"
-
"Have always wanted to join a reading group - this sounds delightful!"
-
"Hi. I hope to make it, depending on whether or not I finish the book on time!"
-
"I'm an out-of-practice former college English major, and a current 1st year UCLA psychology Ph.D. student. I am a huge Anglophile and Austenite, and I'm desperate to start reading classics again for fun."
-
"I like to read books, mostly fiction. Reading and discussing classic novels sounds very appealing. I look forward to meeting other book lovers. "
-
"sounds great!"
-
"I've always loved to read, even those books required in high school that most people hated. I've been reading more and more of the classics lately and find they provide an unique experience you can't always get reading modern fiction."
-
"Wow! Ilayna you are a goood reader! I too am an avid reader (a least a book a week). I also do book reviews on my blog: www.myvickierubinson.com. Embarassed to say I haven't read as many classics as you. I will try and make it to your next meeting! BTW....Beautiful Boy is great as is Bad Moon Rising about the 70's "reverend" Sung young Moon. I love bios!"
