Are you looking for a book club that reads and discusses classic fiction novels ONLY and meets in the West Los Angeles area? You found it!
In March 2008, we will meet to discuss:
Moby Dick by Herman Melville (approximately 500 pages)
*This is our "epic" novel selection for the quarter. I strongly recommend you start reading it in December 2007 or January 2008 in order to have it read in time for the March 2008 meeting.*
I am looking to book room for us at one of the bookstores in the Westwood area. I will post the meeting location once it is secured.

We are open to people of all ages and walks of life who enjoy reading and discussing classic fiction novels.
We will discuss the novel's meaty literary themes and make time for extemporaneous musings in which themes can be compared and contrasted to current events.
