Friends gathered at the Peace Abbey once more, and we shared our feelings and hopes around Sack's work, The Dignity of Difference.

For our upcoming meeting (June 1st) we have the following items:

Choose our next book (bring all your suggestions and all your creativity)

How to proceed during the summer months (meet once a month, take a break for the summer, etc...)

Given the fact that Fr. Carl moved to New Jersey, is any of you willing to assist me (sometimes I may be out of town) in following these meetings? Any volunteer?

Enjoy today's fantastic weather... and to all of you.... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

PEACE

I found a book at the library called The Faith Club: A Muslim, A Christian, A Jew - Three Women Search for Understanding. I know it's about women, but they're doing what we're doing and I thought it might be good. Lots of reviews on amazon. Also how reading group guide & how to start a faith club. I've only read random pages, but it sounds like it has great discussion points.

As much as I have appreciated finding this group, I recently found a Daughters of Abraham group forming closer to home. Thank you for some inspiring conversations. Best wishes, Francine

    •  It is always an honor and pleasure to share and hear the voice of our united souls.
    •  a good group of people and a good discussion. We picked two books for the fall and decided not to meet through the summer due to inevitable scheduling problems. Hopefully people will be able to reconvene as a group Sunday, September 21... I think this is the date! hope everyone has a "grand" time this summer. ruth
