Russian Authors at the Brooklyn Public Library

Traditional "Russian Authors" series will begin its new 2007-2008 season in the brand new auditorium at the BPL's Central Library. The programs will run from October through May and will be held on the 3rd Sunday of every month. All programs are in Russian. The programs are free, but to be admitted, you will need to get a free ticket at the Information Desk.

Meet Yuz Aleshkovsky
A meeting with a veteran of Russian letters, Yuz Aleshkovsky, concludes our 2007-08 Literary series.
Yuz Aleshkovsky began his career as a writer only after a stint in the armed forces, several years in a labor camp, and a number of odd jobs.
