Hi all! wow is all I have to say when it comes to the amount of books you guys cover in one given month. I just need to know..... How do you guys do this? Am I expected to read the book to be able to participate in the discussion of the book? Is this something I just bring and we discuss? To have 3 different books in 1 week, I guess I'm not "getting" it..... LOL
![]() I sure do like the diversity this book club has... Debbie |

Debbie:
What I have found with this book club is there are MANY books on the calendar but you certainly don't have to read each one!!! Select the books that interest you and only read those . . . and, of course, attend the discussion meeting. I also don't think you have to READ the book to participate in the discussion. I have gone to a few discussions (and didn't read the book) and found the conversation fascinating! Plus, if it really piqued my interest, I would borrow someone's book and read it "post-discussion." By having so many choices on the calendar . . . it is just that, a choice in what YOU want to read. I was in a book club where there was only ONE book per month and if I didn't care for it, then I felt out of touch with the group for that month. It's a great group of people and the discussions are fun, interesting AND stimulating! Hope to meet you at one soon! Donna |

Thanks, Donna, it's nice to hear how the book club runs. I have never been involved in a bookclub before, but my love of reading is what drew me in...
I hope to meet you one day soon as well.. Deb |
