About Alphabet Soup: parents talk books while their kids eat them!
We are parents of tots and babies and we love to read. However, we like bringing our kids with us to socialize, when possible. This group lets us work our minds a bit, while letting our kids play with new friends. We understand that being a parent means 'things come up' and we promise to to chastise those who occasionally don't finish (or perhaps start) the book.... we'll still let you hang out for the day.
I'm hoping that we'll have rotating hosts or facilitators and that people will post what books they would like the group to consider. Let's stick to 20th and 21st century literature to start (as there are groups for other genres.)
