We meet every second Thursday, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at QV's Cafe and Bakery located on Fisgard and Government right across from the main entrance to Chinatown. … CARTe has funded the initiative to allow free pizza (including gluten free pizza) and juice to be provided at each meeting as well as an annual book to be produced combining highlights from each participant's work (if they choose to share it). This a group dedicated to exploring Vancouver Island by sea kayaking and hiking. This is a non-club with no insurance and minimal overhead. Bring your own kayak, hiking boots, common sense, responsibility for your own safety, enthusiasm and contribute your own unique skills, talents, adventure stories and favourite pot luck dishes.
