Read a Book - Watch the Movie
The idea for this Meetup is to have a BOOK CLUB with a FUN TWIST --
We pick a BOOK that has been turned into a MOVIE. We read the BOOK before the meeting, then we watch the movie together at my house.
After watching the movie we have fun discussing both versions -- how are they the same, how do they differ, which version do we like better and any thing else we thing of.
Mostly we have fun!

Classics are considered such for a reason; they contain a literary currency that other works do not. This book club is your chance to sit down and finally read Anna Karenina, Don Quixote, Pride and Prejudice or somewhat forgotten classics and/or modern works of similar worth. The books can span any time period or place, and the reading list is always open to growth or suggest …

For truth seekers of both the Urantia Book and ACIM (A Course In Miracles) and how these two works share similar information, and how both of these works came about. Usually the Urantia org. recommends that each member has read the book, before getting involved in a study group. ACIM has always been open to all comers. I propose meeting on the second Sunday of each month between 2 & 4p.m. A little about me, I've been a life long seeker and am still seeking, these two books have had a profound im …
