The books will be posted and give at least 3 weeks advance notice to be prepared to read the material and bring forth our interpretations. We are a group of women who live in Pasadena/South Pasadena, love to read good literature (modern and classics) and enjoy making new friends. We meet each month at a different member's home for an evening of appetizers, socializing and book discussion.

We are an adventurous reading group. We read a variety of types of books, not just stuck on a couple of genre. We read things we don't normally read to stretch our range of enjoyment (and sometimes just to stretch). We will meet once a month and food and drink will be an important part. We will discuss things in an atmosphere of relaxation, respect and fun.

Our Meetup group began in summer 2007, and while our members represent a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, we all share a passion for books.
