Byrd's Books has a book club that meets the third Thursday of each month (except August). We read one book a month and meet in the Upstairs Gallery in Molten Java (across the hall from the bookstore) to discuss! This is an open group- anyone is welcome to attend. This is a reading group for the LGBT community in Connecticut. We will meet once a month in New Haven to discuss a book that members suggest at meetings and vote upon here (polls are available in the 'More' menu at the top). The $5 membership fee is to cover the two $72 fees that Meetup.com bills Organizers each year. And if you have questions, don't hesitate to email me.

We will read  contemporary/classic fiction and non- fiction about once a month.  The monthly books are selected after the last meeting on an online poll.  Book suggestions for the poll are allotted to those have attended prior meetings.  We meet the last Wednesday of each month.
