I started this group because I love to read Sci-Fi and Fantasy books, but I rarely have anyone to discuss them with. I've only been in CT for a few months, and I would love to meet like-minded individuals that I can have fun with and also share my love for the fantastical.

Do you love to read? Do you overtax your brain from 9-5 and want to let it out for some fun? This is the book club for you. Selections will, of course, go according to the group's choices but will offer reading that is fun and relaxing to read. Meetups will be casual dinner locations and focus on social as well as discussional.

We will read  contemporary/classic fiction and non- fiction about once a month.  The monthly books are selected after the last meeting on an online poll.  Book suggestions for the poll are allotted to those have attended prior meetings.  We meet the last Wednesday of each month.

After this group was begun by another organizer, I took over in the spring of 2012 so that a group of individuals who enjoy reading can share ideas. It's interesting to hear different view points from the group about the people's/character's personalities, the settings, and the topics in general.
