I've been looking for a book club to join and I haven't found one that fits what I am looking for so I decided I might as well start my own. This is for anyone looking to get together once a month and discuss our monthly choice. We can do this over coffee, happy hour or a rotation of member's houses. I am open to suggestions on types of books as well.

I love to read, but hardly make the time to do it. So what better way to get motivated than to be part of a book club! Members enjoy all genres: fiction, chick-lit, non-fiction, young adult, and more. (Did you really have to wait for the movie to come out before reading Hunger Games??) Every month we will take turns choosing a book to read on our own, and MeetUp afterwards to discuss our likes, dislikes, meaning, and more.
We meet twice per month to study The Urantia Book. The writings in The Urantia Book instruct us on the genesis, history, and destiny of humanity and on our relationship with God the Father. They present a unique and compelling portrayal of the life and teachings of Jesus. They open new vistas of time and eternity to the human spirit, and offer new details of our ascending adventure in a friendly and carefully administered universe.

Après avoir fini les études officielles, c’est plus difficile de trouver de bonnes discussions sur la littérature, surtout en français, donc maintenant est l’occasion pour les étudiants ou les fans de rassembler et partager leur enthousiasme pour le sujet et la langue !

For many years, I have struggled with being a high level professional in the private sector and in the faith community among heavy extraverts, all the while living and working with great anxiety. Several weeks ago I discovered several books that have begun to change my life; Introverts in the Church: Finding Our Place in an Extroverted Culture; and Introvert Power: Why Your Inner Life Is Your Hidden Strength. And there is a new book coming out this month which is said will be a classic, Quiet: T …

This is a group for a study and discussion of all things "woman". We will be reading and discussing books about women, finding guest speakers to come to meetups and talk to us about different things, and I think movie nights would be great too where we can host small parties and discuss them. Even though this will be a pro-woman group, we welcome all genders and identities - male, female, transgendered, bi, gay, straight, everyone is welcome. This is a group meant to bring together people of a similar interest in this area. Meetups will be scheduled as ideas are presented or meetings are needed/wanted. All meetings are optional and open to anyone in the group (RSVP's are suggested before hand) as well as any friends or family that also have an interest in attending. As the name suggests we are not a band of otaku going bump in the night. We are just average people wanting to meet other people who share our interests.
