Hello! I am interested in starting a Book Club for other fun and outgoing moms who live in and around the Baltimore area (I am in Lutherville). If you like to read anything from great fiction/historical fiction to memoirs and novels (think NY Times top 100 lists), would enjoy getting together with a group of other women approx. once per month, and are open to the idea of hosting the group once in a while, this group might be right for you! My goal is to assemble a group of 8-12 women who would l …
New to Baltimore? Or just want to discuss great books with like minded friends? We are a few Towson area 20 something ladies looking to gather a small group for a monthly book discussion and a glass of wine (or two). Come join us to laugh, have fun and exchange stories!
A live, as opposed to on-line, book discussion group that reads speculative fiction like Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery, Graphic Novels and more! As this group grow I hope to include Movie, TV, and Game nights and possibly trips to events like Balticon or even New York Comic Con. I want this to be a content rich envirionment and I plan on starting some related topics on the discussion boards. If anyone would like to help with organizing or adding content, message me!

Escape Reality is a place where friends can come together for lively and meaningful discussion about books of all kinds while enjoying some good food, good wine, and great company! Meetings are two Sundays of each month at 5:00 pm. Members will be able to take turns suggesting readings. We believe that variety is the spice of life and that everyone should have a chance to break out of their comfort zones so we don't limit what we read to any particular genre or type of novel, we want to get a li …

Hello Ladies and welcome to Baltimore Ladies Book Club & Drinks! We have a great group of members for the past year now and are considering opening our group up to a couple of new girls to still keep it small and personal. Our group consists of 8 fun and active girls in their early 30's that enjoy dinners, drinks and other random fun activities. It's been a while since we've had an actual book for our book club, so really we are looking for some outgoing ladies to join us. Everyone is nice, co …
Looking to read new books and have some fun?!?! Here's a group for ladies in their 20's- early 30's who want a group of girls to meet with for book clubs, brunch, shopping, and girls' nights out.
Hello Everyone!, Hope the tag-line didn't make the group sound too pretentious! We tried this group before and we lasted quite a while! members got married, had kids and moved on; but I'd love to keep it going strong. So if you love non-fiction like me, come on down!
Our group meets monthly to discuss both fiction and non-fiction books. We generally meet in a restaurant and talk over dinner. We are a casual group. Discussions tend to float back and forth between the book and other topics.

A small book club for 20-and-30-something ladies and female-identified people to meet once a month and discuss a work of literature--primarily fiction, maybe with an occasional work of nonfiction thrown in. I started this book club for three reasons: 1) I miss discussing books after reading them, the way I used to in school, 2) I'd like to make more friends in Baltimore, and 3) Book clubs are best when they're small, and I just wasn't able to find a small one to join in Baltimore! Join this grou …

I would love to expand my friendship circles with local women who want to learn, grow and develop their individuality in life. I'd like to discuss books that are about personal growth, get together for creative endeavors (crafts, jewelry making, etc...), and of course food/wine are always fun to have in the mix! Books, craft ideas etc... would be determined by the unique group of women who come together!

I am looking for people that are interested in putting their photo's to good use! I decided to start this group because every one has a story to tell and a loved one who needs to hear it. The purpose of this group is to introduce others to an easy way to get their story out there. The first story I published was for my 4 boys. Their story was about how our family evolved. The second story I published was for my dad. This book was pictures of all of the Thanksgivings we have shared in North Carol …

This group is for ladies in their 20's --mid 30's who are looking to make new, lasting friendships. It is my hope that this will become an active group and that we will get together regularly to enjoy fun times and great company. I'm thinking brunches, dinners, happy hours, nights on the town, shopping trips, movie/game nights, spa outings, wine tastings, recipe exchanges, maybe even a book club--the sky's the limit! Why the name Ribbons and Pearls? Ribbons are girly and pearls are classy--li …
The Star Trek Association of Towson (STAT) is a club where science fiction fans gather and socialize through monthly club meetings and an annual convention. Although founded in 1978 by Star Trek fans, STAT long ago broadened its interest to include all SF television shows, movies, books, and science. We put on the Shore Leave convention every July - it is one of the biggest fan-run SF conventions in the Eastern USA. The upcoming convention in July of 2010 marks our 32nd anniversary!
